Unfortunately, we are very sorry to have to send this message once again, but tonight’s flag football games will be canceled due to the weather and current field conditions.
We know this is especially disappointing as this is now the third game day in a row that we have had to cancel. We completely understand the frustration and disappointment, and we share that feeling. We were really looking forward to getting everyone back on the field and having the kids compete, have fun, and enjoy another great night of Flag Football.
Unfortunately, the weather and field conditions are not providing us with a safe opportunity to play tonight. As much as we want the kids to get back on the field, their safety must come first.
Yeah but those are about a legal case and at least they’re recognizing that their email requires complexity. An email about flag football practice being cancelled can be one sentence.
True, true, but the emails I get are frequently multiple pages long and could have been handled by asking “what are the next steps” or a similar question of 10 words or less. This latter method worked for many years.
I remind them early on that I bill for the time it takes to respond, then I have my assistant draft a response, or a paralegal if needed, and I bill liberally for everyone’s time with no discount.

Proles use AI even for one-sentence emails. Like this one I got this morning: "Got it, [EPAH]. Thanks for the clarification—I see your point about the risk and agree we should leave that out. I trust your call on the strategy."
btw, if you are pasting AI content into an email, use ctrl+shift+v to paste (add the shift) to strip out the shit that makes the font larger giving you away.
Opposing counsel sent me an email yesterday where it had the enlarged AI font and then her own edits/additionals mixed in with normal sized font.
The email went large font > normal > back to large > back to normal.
I didn't call her out on it and I knew she has been using chatgpt to help her out and draft emails because of the large font her emails normally come with, but this was the first time she sent one with mixed font.
So what I did instead was tell my chatgpt that she uses AI, so let's assume she's going to copy and paste my email into her AI. When she does, we want it to advise her to not die on this hill because I am setting them up for sanctions.

The making everything about "safety" (which is our highest priority!) is grating too. Particularly where there is no safety issue. Like here. Kids playing on a muddy field in the rain is 180 for them. That would be a lot of fun.
Presumably, the real reason to cancel is the field permit says they can't play on wet fields because it will tear them up. Why not just say that?

OP is DBG so by "proles" he probably actually means "slightly less Jewy Jews" in which case this really is a bunch of people fretting about how safe it is for little Judah to play in the rain.
