I still suspect though that had Moore won his senate seat, Kavanaugh & Flake might've voted the other way as a protest against the MSM narrative of the GOP being the "Party of Roy Moore". That being said, it would've been disastrous for the Dems for an open scotus seat to be in the balance during the election. Amy Barrett as the nominee to an open SCOTUS seat could've earned some sympathy from Republican women who are now otherwise going to vote D. |
