Can you say he was self made? Yes. But did his parents wealth help? Yes. So we shouldn't be so quick to say the rich are where they are only because they are smart and hard working. |

Obviously the fact that Bill Gates father was wealthy, could afford to send Bill to private school, could afford to purchase a computer when they were exceedingly rare, could afford to pay for his sons college education, could afford to loan money to Bill to start up microsoft would disqualify him from being a self-made man UNDER YOUR OWN DEFINITION. |
