so ill tell my story:
a classmate of mine was CERTAIN she failed. 100% certain. she said after the first torts question set, she decided she did not like the MC questions, and stopped doing them altogether. she didnt do a single practice essay or mpt. at the simulated mbe barbri gives, she said she only did half and then bombed it so bad she walked out and didnt finish the rest.
the day after the exam she was flipping out because she wrote basically one sentence for each prong of the essay questions, some of which were simply identifying the subject matter of the question. almost no analysis. she was absolutely certain she failed the bar and grossly underprepared.
this person passed the NY/Cali bar. |

Had to study at lunch, during free time at work, on the commuter train, and at home. I studied probably half what everyone else did. Sucks to work all day only to go home to do mbe questions. Pocketed bar stipend and studied using prior year barbri books from craigslist and downloaded torrents of lectures.
Thought there was a 95% chance i failed. Passed. |
