You need a nice precious stone that is cheaper than a diamond but still looks good and respectable. You'll typically want something with both diamonds and that precious stone but it will save money. Something like this:
But for about 2K I can find you a nice diamond and gold ring.

You want either a single stone that is 1+ carats or three stones totaling about 1.5 carats. Anything else might look embarrassingly small and you're better off with a precious stone that's not a diamond.
But this link is .75 carats and it's incredibly high quality so you might get away with it, especially if she has smaller hands. |
