First off, she might have a plausible claim for breach of contract, or whatever the claim might be. It doesn't seem fair for the school to be able to drop her at its discretion unless she violated some term of the agreement when she enrolled. Admittedly I don't know much about student-school agreements and whatnot.
Second, the feminist furies would descend on Duke if they dared expel her for being nothing more than a sexually liberated young woman. |
