Just threw temper tantrum over firm's new internet policy

Date: April 6th, 2015 4:07 PM Author: Passionate bawdyhouse The HR bitch handed me a "Policy on Internet and E-mail Usage" to sign. Can't access websites that contain "disruptive, offensive to others or harmful to morale, including sexually explicit messages, blah blah blah."
I have never been okay with this type of thing so I immediately blurt out, "What the fuck is this shit?"
The HR girl goes, "It isn't just for you, it is for everyone."
I crumbled it up, threw it in the trash, and went to my office. Perhaps I overreacted? |

The other attorney (who is as big a hippy as I am) wasn't at the meeting to comment. I pretended I was more interested in picking my fingernails than what the HR girl was saying.
The partner acted like he didn't know what she was talking about so the HR says to him, "You even signed it." The partner said, "Okay . . .".
I kept picking my fingernails. I'm not signing it bros. |
