Grading and evaluation standards have been degraded to the point they don't really exist in a meaningful sense. That being said, any kid who gets into Harvard UG is doing himself a disservice by not using the resources available to learn, improve skills, and network. Skating by may be easier than ever, but because grades don't matter, it's also harder to get your foot in the door so you better be using Harvard's resources while you're there to become a better you or you'll become washed up cannon fodder in the post-graduation working world. |
