I'm guessing if they left, it was because of politics and power. Especially if they had their own book of business.
heck, if i had intel as a client, i'd just set up my own shop and take all the profits. Something like day casebeer. |

If you did accept an offer there, it looks like almost the whole team went to another firm in the area. Just google the name and see what is up. They may want you at the new firm, and Dewey still may have every intention of honoring your offer. Though they would probably need some more partners.
