Reasonably intelligent BIGLAW lawyers can almost always understand the technology at issue. If you don't believe me, go on Google patent search and read some patents. To the extent they seem incomprehensible, that's likely due to poor writing.
The vast majority of EE patents and EE patent litigation arise from so-called "trolls," who don't make any products. Their business model is to patent very basic ideas and sue big companies for the strike value. |
