Anyway, I graduated and came home for a few weeks. Did nothing. Didnt even try to find a job, much less a career.
By middle of June I moved to a city where a friend lived and slept on his couch, got a bar job, banged out girls, whatever. Got a DUI by September. Moved to another friend's in MFH where I didnt need a license. Maybe by January I was "job hunting".
Kind of surprised that I felt zero pressure from anyone, and had zero sense of shame in finishing an expensive college and just doing the same shit I could have done at 18 with no college.
Someone, somewhere must have been looking at me and thinking "wtf with this kid". No one said it, and I didnt think it. |
