So I went to Target, they had all the games locked up in a glass case, you couldn't discreetly grab one and take it the counter. I'm a grown man and didn't want to deal with the embarrassment of being a normal middle aged guy buying these and having to act like they're for my kids or something, I know they'd see right through me.
so I just headed back to my car feeling defeated. While leaving I saw some teens (not a euphemism for black, just that age) in the parking lot so I asked them if they'd buy the games for me. I gave them $120 cash and asked them to get Final Fantasy Tactics and the Pokemon game. I ended up kinda following them into the store which they didn't notice. While the clerk was grabbing the games I overheard them say "yeah some weird loser adult actually asked us to buy these for him". Clerk laughed and said "wow what a retarded faggot piece of crap"
Felt a combo of anger and embarrassment and left. Now I'm out the money and the whole thing was a waste of time. |
