All he did was buy some IP rights off GSK. He bought the patent for a type of drug that's only meant to be used OLD PEOPLE with a TERMINAL disease. These are the lowest risk class patients on earth. A drug that cures Alzheimers but gives you a 99% risk of brain cancer is a drug every Alzheimer's patient would happily take, and the FDA would not stop them. So of course that shit got approved. He never had to do the kind of safety and efficacy trials 99% of drugs have to go through.

Vivek didn't know that side of the industry, so he stepped in shit when he went to get his drug approved. Then he watched Pfizer and Moderna do it the right way and he got MAF. That was when he realized what he SHOULD have been doing to get his drug approved.

That's when he started his campaign, which is not about becoming POTUS but about being some kind figurehead for an industry PAC that lobbies for FDA reform. There is a big movement behind this.

I am 100% not flaming about this. It's easy to trace Vivek's statements and actions back in time and see how this all unfolded. He's fucked though because he's obviously just pumped up on stimulants and he draws too much attention. An effective "reform" effort is going to be stealthed and they'll* make 4 or 5 good runs at it without making a show of it in the next few years.
