i also have all the posts indexed. this gets way more interesting, just getting the thread search going first. i won't allow direct user-driven post searching because it could enable stalking, but i think the site will still be able to use it... a lot.

The problem is that I like to go through the pages of searches after searching for something, but right now clicking "next page" on a search qualifies as an individual instance of searching. Sometimes it takes multiple instances of being locked out to get to the last page of results
yes, i know. 6 per minute might not be enough for that, but those queries are cached , so they should be less costly, too. i'll see if i can increase the per minute for a search already cached and have it not impact the daily rate. i need limits though.

Honestly, could you just add buttons that takes you to the first and last page of results in addition to the back and next buttons? I'd be satisfied with the current rate limits, if I weren't blowing them trying to triangulate where the last page is

search is returning only exact results, it should return results where the search is part of a word. For example someone may search gun and also want gunner, gunnerat, etc.
yeah just a little bit of strain on the search box but by tomorrow posts should be in, even though it doesn't make a real difference for the end user. what i'd like to do now is expand the search quotas.

dont know if this is at all feasible but it woudl be cool if, only in search mode, you have the option for a fourth column with the date on which the thread was originally posted

While we're here, can we get the option to sort threads by descending number of replies in addition to recency? Would make finding old forgotten gems a lot easier
