He should be evaluated on the same standard as Chinks/JEWS/Whites in terms of admissions. From what the evidence shows, that wouldn't make the top IVY cut. 5. He is racking up on extra $$ in grants/scholly, which is not justified in going to an African in this country for 10years. 6. If he were some poor Black from Miss Delta with these numbers, I would stand and cheer him forward.

we all understand that the problems with homegrown Blacks are legion in the academic arena. that's not the point. i don't like to see these foreigners come over here and the schools get to show them as "Black" admits and they get their portion of all the goodies that is reserved for Black admits.
if we are going to help someone, lets help the one's that have already been here and are disadvantaged, not some African kid and then check the box like we've admitted some girl from Clarksdale, MS.
i am not trying to take anything away from the kid. he seems like a good kid with a lot going for him. |
