Residency isn't biglaw. You get paid 30-60k/yr. You get paid so little you qualify for deferment as a matter of course. If she deferred that's 300k at 6.8-12% compounded.
If she misses 2-3 payments she can add 10-20% onto her balance due to a loan being delinquent.
If she gets turned over to collection that's another 10-20% automatically. |
