8 final fours since 1999 despite never being the best team in any year.

6-0 in title games which is like winning the lottery.

more NC's than duke or kansas.

its a sim glitch right?

its interesting because when I was a kid they were considered a second tier program in the middle of nowhere. if you told an old big eastmo a school would have that many championships we would say georgetown, johns, cuse, nova before ever thinking of uconn. its why the ncaa tournament is fun but not the best way to crown a legit champion.

The "best" teams are usually preening fags who are biding their time until the NBA draft, which is the right career move but frequently means they can get beat by another good team running a good system or with a good player who gets hot. That's why the single game March Madness is 180. You get instances like white Midwestern plumber Frank Kaminsky singlehandedly beating those 5 Kentucky lottery picks -- which would never happen in a 7 game series.

thats fine and I get it. but when a team wins 6 NC's in a 25 year span (with 3 different coaches) despite being a second tier program - I feel it needs to be at least acknowledged. It would be like if Purdue or West Virginia winning multiple championships in football. its just fucking odd.
