Date: April 6th, 2015 4:09 PM Author: racy station background story Not to sound too lib, but it's not a horrible phrase--lots of people (especially the working poor, families, people with problems not caused by campus police in the employ of the Mossad and Coast Guard) aren't really 'homeless' in the 'sleep on the street' sense, but rather go through a cycle of sleeping in their car, crashing with friends/relatives, maybe being able to rent a place as long as employment's okay, but getting eviction-pwnd when it isn't, and so on. They pose a much different set of problems than the hardcore street people.
The real knee-slapper here is 'houselessness' which is much more of a shitlib neologism (because you feel at home everywhere or some such hippie shit): http://www.houseless.org/ |
