even the people who appear to be operating entirely independently are talking to people on back channels. they have friends and help each other out and find ways to boost each other, or feed each other ideas. and if you want friends you can't take autistic, contentious stands on "principle" at every juncture - you can disagree, even openly, but you can't have open conflict. and you have to reconcile with that kind of compromise because otherwise nobody cares what you have to say about trump or kamala or hillary clinton or "seth smith" or anything, we get enough of it. you can work towards something big and different but you can't take the staircase away from yourself first, you need to work with others to grow within a community.

(this is doubly true with "groypers" because the "movement" exists almost exclusively to promote fuentes and whatever is on his mind that day, but that's the game that karl chose to play and you need to know the rules)
