It was a rehearsed ambush set up by professionals.

Basically they aborted their first attempt to accost me- at that point i was alert to something going on, and it was a race to see if I could get to my truck before they could run me over/stick a gun in my face.

I won that by literally a nanosecond; they were pulling the handle of my door at the very instant I hit the electric lock.

They tried smashing my windows with their pistol grips, drivers and passengers side, but I was able to start the truck and rip the fuck out of there. At the intersection, 30' away, they had cars positioned on all 3 sides (4 counting behind me, which was the one the thugs got out of) and because they positioned one car poorly I was able to slip by. Not that it mattered at that point- I was in control of a Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 with a 5.9 Cummins turbodiesel and would have made a wrecking yard out of all their cars if I needed to (unless they shot me first).
