The myth of bad british food came out of a combination of them not having many spices (same with most of Europe) and eating a lot of organ/blood meats (which are way better than they sound, honestly....stuff like blood sausage and haggis is 180).
Also, their roasts are pretty solid even though they don't have intricate rubs and smokers and sauces like American BBQ |
