Seems like the question becomes whether the church is protected in its judgment that gays don’t make proper parents given that the government, who is funding the operation, would be prohibited from doing that. |

Does Catholic Social Services have an exclusive contract to provide these services? If not then no one is going to be harmed by Catholic Social Services remaining a contractor. If a gay couple wants a kid, they can use a different provider.
This is just like the cake case and the weird fervor a few years ago when libs scoured the country for any food provider who refused to service gay weddings. They’re trying to find any way to fuck over religiously minded merchants. |
