I actually think this is why it's the opposite from your conclusion. Euros never really had the establishment/celebrities/etc. dousing them 24/7 with carebear anti-racism stuff that we've had here for at least 40+ years now. As a result almost no one here would feel comfortable talking even with close friends, let alone in a place of business, about anything remotely considered racist. In Europe & Asia, they don't have that backstory. |
