It’s very hit or miss. Many of the subplots don’t have proper payoffs; the subplots used to be tied up into a neat bow at the end of the episodes. Larry David hasn’t aged a day in 20 years, then again, he’s always looked old. Cheryl Hines looks old and not good. Susie is funny as ever being a shrieking cunt. Jeff garlin does a good job and it’s interesting the references to his cheating which kind of mirrored his being fired on the other show he was on for inappropriate behavior

The show always reinforces that Jews stick together, that they hate gentiles especially white ones that resist them, except they love to steal white gentile women, and they love blacks for some reason

The best part of the season was imo the obese Hispanic chick who was cast on Larry’s sub show even though she couldn’t act. She was very funny. I also like the bill hicks (?) episode where he played 3 Eastern European guys . Vince Vaughn did a good job but his character wasn’t used that much. Also Vince is super right wing but closeted irl afaik so interesting how he would interact with shitlib Larry . Larry having sex with the old ugly woman to try to get a law changed was pretty funny

the reason why it was funny before was because you felt like larry david and the jew crew were also laughing at themselves - their ridiculous jewish behavior was a part of the joke, and it was performed in self-aware good nature. but in the new ones it seemed nasty, bad-natured, and just tribalistic
