all that other shit, like "best lawyers" and law dragon, etc. are all a popularity contest and worthless.
example, at my last firm, i was the only traditional labor lawyer. as much as i suck at most things in life, i happen to be really good at that. the "best lawyers" list came out, and there were 3-4 employment litigators at my firm listed on the "management - labor" best of list. i was not on it.
those rankings are all a joke. chambers is legit, though, and they really vet you. |

they did that when i was at baker donelson, which i'd classify as midlaw. |
