What I’ve received instead is some sort of cucked Israeli puppet. Instead of stepping up enforcement of illegal immigration laws, he signed a sweeping amnesty bill that is directly responsible for the catastrophe we currently have on our border. It’s more porous than ever, and Trump’s amnesty ensures that none of these illegals will be deported. He’s even done things like cut funding for e-verify, just a complete piece of shit.

This has been bad enough, but it’s been easy to rationalize as the lesser of two evils. After all, under a President Hillary, this place probably would have already been shut down.

But if he breaks not only his #1 campaign promise (stop illegal immigration) but also his #2 promise (no more world police), this bloated windbag will truly be dead to me. I think a war with Iran would be even worse than Iraq turned out to be. This is Israel’s war that they’ve been spoiling for, for decades. Let Israel send their troops to die and spend their own $$$.

I’m hearing the exact same bullshit propaganda now that I did for Iraq. The Iranian people are suffering under an oppressive regime! Who the fuck cares? It’s nonsense so Israel and our defense contractors can benefit.

Also, I think Iran is far more powerful than Syria, and a war with them would be a catastrophe in a way that Syria couldn’t be. Also, I didn’t support his bombings of Syria either, but he did not lead us into war with them. Every indication I’ve seen is that (((they))) are setting the stage for full blown war. The bad memory of the Iraq War is too fresh, as are Campaign Trump’s repeated promises to pull out of Middle Eastern wars and stop being world police. The “call Sean Hannity!” thing was specifically so Hannity could vouch for Trump’s foresight to be against the Iraq War from the very beginning. Getting us into yet another protracted Middle Eastern War would expose him as a Clown Fraud to his base in an extremely obvious way. I think it would depress base turnout and lead to a decisive loss.

Tariffs are also an issue right now to me, because many companies never planned to deal with this issue. 10% tariffs are not a big deal to me, but 25% tariffs can cause business dynamics to radically change and shift, causing a failure cascade where consumers spend less, businesses produce and advertise less etc.
