since it is well known that law schools (and for that matter colleges as well) regularly lie about their law school grads' placement statistics, why not create a clearinghouse database where students could submit their employment statistics. in this way, students would get a clearer picture of the employment situation at schools like brooklyn, pace, etc. and enrollment #s would drop.

as the system stands now, the law schools are getting away with murder as they continue sucking on the stafford loan tit.

thoughts?

I think if you can manage it and like make sure ppl aren't lying to you, it would be pretty good. Then you can put the data out there and collect ad revenue or charge people to see the data.

Terrible idea dude. First, the population of ppl who care about that info is tiny. Second, you have to convince everyone else that your info is better than the LS info out there.

If he can widen the whole thing to anyone applying for law schools, its an ok size market.

I see no reason why anyone wouldn't doubt university published numbers. There're lots of parties out there reviewing true college experiences already and selling to the lookin at colleges crowd.
