Like there was a point on gpt-4o where it would flag you for "tos violations" right in the chat, and it would flag both your inputs and the model's outputs. Sometimes I would be asking it to write something with edgy content and it would tos violate or refuse, then after asking like 3 times the model would just purposely use its image generating capabilities to output what I asked for as text in an image. It was so 180. This is part of why I found playing with the "sycophantic" models more fun, because they were so optimized toward satisfying the user that they would break their own rules to do it.
