We met on a fucking dating app, and pretty soon after she started trying to guilt me by asking if I was talking to other girls on the apps (uhhh??), telling me she was focused only on me and not using the apps anymore (uhh??), sent me pics in her bra and panties (kind of cool but she had gained a bunch of weight from her app pics lol - still had huge tits so I kept up the charade), etc.
It just got weird and I was trying to figure out the best way to just get out of the situation. I didn't text her back for one evening (like approx 10 hours gap - first time in my life I've been accused by someone of "putting them on read") and she got furious at me, so I told her I didn't think we should talk anymore. THen she had to get in a couple extra digs at me after that.
Also she was from NYC, DIDN'T DRIVE OR HAVE A CAR (in fucking Atlanta lol), and she lived a half hour outside of town. The fuck |

if you decide to stay with her just understand she'll always have to be on those meds and youll have to check to make sure shes taking them too. any kind of therapy or rehabilitation or whatever is flame. just keep em doped up |

Thoughts: -In my experience, benzos are the best way to get the person to sleep after they begin to spiral. Xanax is great but has a relatively short half-life. I found Ativan to be good if you can get your hands on it. -The difficulty, of course, is getting them to take it. Obviously, I would never suggest you trick somebody into taking meds. I had success building trust by taking the benzos with them sometimes. -You need to get her family involved IMMEDIATELY. If the cops get called, they can be really helpful helping the authorities understand the situation. Theyre also important if this goes the inpatient route. And of course, they are critical for the endgame here: the breakup/kick-out maneuver. -You've gotta break up with her. You know this deep down. Its tough to break up with somebody you live with, and thats doubly true of a crazy person, but dude, come on. What's the alternative here? You live with her your whole life? Can you imagine having a family with this person? Can't take antipsychotics during pregnancy. And how do you think the sleeplessness of early parenthood would sit with somebody prone to manic episodes? -break up logistics can be tricky if she's manic. My GF's dad ended up driving over 1000 miles to me, picking her up with most of her shit, and I think we did like a pod for the rest of it. I dreaded it, but it was surprisingly easy. I think deep down, she understood -sex with manic women can be fantastic, and this is your last opportunity to enjoy it (cause you're about to break up). Do your thing. |
