For someone who wants a degree just for the sake of having a degree. If the cost were the same, would it be better (i.e. prestigious) to have a Harvard MPA or Princeton MPP?

"competative" and the harvard mid-career MPA don't belong in the same sentence, or galaxy. it is not even remotely a "back door MBA." those are by far the dumbest people at harvard, exceeding even the ed. school, extension school, and the dark, low reaches of the school of public health

Harvard mid-careers include astronauts and elected politicians; it's more a networking thing.
