Non flame noob here. Just met with CPC who was generally vague and unhelpful. Was wondering what the great minds of XOXO think. GPA puts me barely in top 10% and I don't know if I made law review yet. I know Fordham gets slammed on this site and realize it will be hard hit by ITE. What firms should I target in NYC?

I know somebody with roughly the same GPA (he was Fordham class of 2010), and he got Davis Polk.

top 10% should be fine.

you could throw some hail mary bids on prestigious firms but i'd play it safe and hit the v30-50 range hard.

You should be fine. You might want to bid light on v5 and firms with small summer classes, but you won't have a problem getting what you want, even ITE.

I wouldn't necessarily believe that someone with a 3.6 got Davis Polk - in my class the people that went there were in the top 10 students, not top 10 percent.

Do you know yet how many schedules each firm will be doing at OCI? There are 21 interviews per schedule, so you can pretty much figure out which firms will automatically choose you based on GPA and bid them lower.
