i met this girl at whole foods. i was by the bakery case and saw this really cute little hipster girl, so i went up and got in line behind her. she ordered some gluten-free pastry, and i used it to talk to her. she has celiac(?) disease, the gluten allergy. i said i did too, and ordered one as well, and bought hers. it was one of the worst things i've ever eaten btw. we chill and eat gross pastries.
so i end up calling her that weekend, we go out...now we're dating exclusively. only problem is i have to keep up this bullshit gluten allergy facade. special bread, special everything. no beer. it SUCKS.
i really like her, but i also want to eat like a normal human being. what the fuck should i do.

I don't know, but the longer you keep it up, the more ridiculous it is. If you admit that you lied to pick her up, it's cute, but if you admit that you changed your eating habits for 5 months, it's weird.

If you are meant to be, she will forgive you. It's really not that big of a deal and kind of flattering. You have to tell her asap though. It's more manly this way.

Not that creepy. There are worse things. It's still in the "kind of funny/cute" stage. She probably doesn't want to marry anyone who has the same disease as her, anyhow. Recessive genes and all.
I would recommend you tell her when you have both been drinking, but do alcoholic beverages have gluten? Anyway.

1. Have all your friends on twitter start a viral rumor that you died.
2. Move to a new town for 6 months.
3. Dye your hair and get glasses (or switch to contacts if you already had glasses).
4. Return to same Whole Foods, pick her up again the same way, except this time, tell her after a week you just thought she was cute and you wanted to get to know her so you lied about the gluten allergy.
Hahaha thats awesome bro. Just live the lie and ride that train as long as you can until it throws you off. But when you get tossed make it epic, im talking like shotgunning beers in front of her.

just tell her you thought it was an easy lie to get her to go out with you but now you're stuck because you really like her so you have to come clear. she will hear "really like her" and forget the rest. ywia.

If you had any game, you'd be able to pull this off (tell her the truth) very easily. However, the way you'll try to do it will come off as awkward and like a huge liar.

what especially sucks is that my friends and i always went out to brew pubs for belgians and shit before this. those things are glasses of fucking gluten.

dude, just tell her that you think youre gonna try to eat gluton stuff again. start slow and tell her that its not bothering you too much. after a while you can tell her that youve built up a "tolerance" and it doesnt bother you anymore.
She probably thought you were lying to talk to her, idiot. now you're basically fucked. might as well tell her you found some miracle cure before you slip up
My bf p 2+ years did the same thing. We met at a party and were already pretty drink when we meant. We went into the kitchen searching for food and found fruity pebbles. He said he loved them as much as I did and we munched on half year box. Months later he admitted to being a wheaties man and that he hated fruity pebbles. He only ate them that night to keep talking to me.
I thought it was silly.
If this girl is cool, she'll respect the effort you put in to keep seeing her and honesty is always the best policy.
This is really cute. Just tell her the truth, she'll think it's cute too. I don't care whether this is flame. I am going to pretend it is real bcs of teh cuteness.

I have a wheat allergy and make awesome pancakes. Everyone loves food that I make. She sounds like a bad cook, or someone in need of guidance. Buy Pamela's mix.

Wheat is fucking dogshit anyway, and most Americans consume too much of it. A gluten-free diet is better for your health anyway, so if you like the chick, it is a win/win. And once in a while when she leaves the house you can order up some Papa Johns.

simple. tell her your last doctor visit included a cbc differential and cholesterol check and that apparently your gluten allergy is gone (the doc says some people grow out of it depending upon their insulin levels and other makeup bullshit).
