The way you need to look at things is that you have no shot at a fortune 500, BUT you have no shot at anything. So if an idea pops into your head you should try it.
Getting a job right now is like winning the lottery. I suggest you apply to as many as possible and hope one is the winning ticket. |

He is helping to protect the States from cyber attack. He also knows tons about hacking into computers. The stories he tells are hilarious. Another began a start-up, made some money off it (not much, but was able to sell it), and now works in IT at a major hospital.
The DOD dude was definitely not at the top of the class in HS and didn't really care about work at all. There is no way he would have wanted to work for the feds when he was 16. The other dude has always been very smart, went to probably the best LAC (there's debate between the top two, though), and has always been driven. It's interesting to see where people end up going. |

Yeah, I think the DOD job sounds pretty cool. You don't? He has some cool stories about the different tactics people try (can't tell me who is trying it, of course). Plus, he knows how to hack into loads of stuff, even with just his iPhone. I saw him once at a bar hack into this public message display the bar had with his iPhone. It was like magic! |
