Should be much easier than engineering or comp sci (on par with nursing), with reasonable employment prospects. |

UGPA is nearly irrelevant to all of these (just do post bacc for a year, stack 30 credits/semester and shift your GPA to the high 2.8 range)
2.0 GPA from a decent school is more than adequate to just start over a career and at a shitty regional school and make straight As.
Hell I improved my overall GPA from 3.1 to 3.6 already in <1 year. |

All masters programs do the same... going to some shitty state school or state school + community college at the same time is more than sufficient to rape his GPA back up into the 3.0+ range in a year and a summer.
However, that only matters if he wants to go to med school or a top grad school I guess.
Most masters programs are made for idiots. 2.0 GPA only matters for law schools... and it doesn't matter much once you're out of the T20 WUSTL accepts nearly anything with a >170 |

but if you graduated with a 2.4, i'd imagine you'd start off at the back of the line unless you had a real good story, a bunch of time passed, or, well, something to justify yourself. |

for instance, say you are coming up on graduation in UG, and you realize you have a shitty GPA. could you start taking easy classes at another school? would that still be averaged into an "UG GPA"? as long as it is work done before the end of "UG" status?
