Most lawyers work at firms with less than 10 lawyers and at shops like this even the partners are struggling to clear 160k a year. HTH. The children’s bone cancer ward at Sloan-Kettering will be a mardi gras compared to the scene that’s soon coming to a second-tier school near you! Biglaw has already filmed the trailer for this horror movie: firm upon firm has already shit-canned OCI at even the elite schools, and summer-associate offer rates are hovering around the 50% mark at many of the big mills per Above the Law and other websites. And rather than ballgames and booze cruises, the few “summers” left in Biglaw are staying past midnight churning the shitpaper to score brownie points.
