In my own personal experience on the board, putting aside the SY episode (in which I supported you) you have always been good about this, and I think general bitching aside most people appreciate the fact that there are now mods who can - and will - remove outing information as it is posted.
I would personally just like clarification on your policies re: IP tracking, IP logging, alt tracking, etc. I would particularly like you to clarify exactly how much access bel has to your master account - does she know the password? Can she log on and see everything that you see if she wants? From our perspective, it seems like she has relatively unfettered control of it, and to a lot of posters I think that's a pretty scary thing because while we may trust you, the fact that you have chosen to share your life with a girl doesn't mean that we automatically trust her as well.

I realized that she had probably fabricated the story in order to keep ugly pictures of her off of the board. I posted a thread describing this situation - http://www.xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=1388297&mc=37&forum_id=2#15716014 - and followed it with links to some of the offending pictures, which were promptly deleted. I reposted them several times within that thread and they were instantly deleted each time (you can see all the blank posts). I'll concede that reposting those links was spamming, in a sense; however, I don't think that she had any right to delete the pictures in the first place, as (1) they were originally posted by her and (2) she links to pictures of herself all the time. So spamming seems justified in that sense, because it is fighting unfair deletion.
Then, I posted this thread: http://xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=1388311&mc=1&forum_id=5 which as you can see ended up in the garbage. Then, I posted http://xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=1388314&mc=1&forum_id=5 which was also garbaged immediately. I followed that with http://xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=1388316&mc=1&forum_id=5 and http://xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=1388319&mc=1&forum_id=5 (clearly, this isn't spam, as I wasn't flooding the board; I was reposting threads AFTER they had been garbaged [and garbaged unfairly]).
Then, my IP was banned for the night. Rach accused me in e-mail of "devot[ing]" my summer to BEL. Haha. I'm so OBSESSED! |
