Where will the impetus for economic expansion come from? housing? LOL, no. Fiscal and monetary policies have failed. Interests rates have been at zero for banks for a long time to no avail.

all it requires is a moderate uptick in consumer confidence/consumer expenditures to kindle the flame. from there, I don't know which sector will drive the economy -- maybe tech?

More importantly, a slight economic uptick won't lead to the rabid increase in junior hiring that c/o 2012 wanted and c/o 2013 is dreaming of.

well, 2011 came on the heels of a clogged pipeline and overzealous 2009/2010 classes; 2012 suffered from the same deferral issue.

2013 might have hope; work has picked up at a number of firms and the 2011 and 2012 classes are so pathetically small according to historical "rightsizings" of the firms that they may just need bodies to handle the grunt work....
