Had myself convinced I had pancreatitis or gallstones a year or so ago.
Finally saw a doctor and had blood tests and an ultrasound.
Liver enzymes normal. No gallstones. Doc prescribed Nexium. Helped immensely.
Pretty sure a few years of combining alcohol and ibuprofen tore a hole in my duodenum. If it hurts under your right rib, and, at worst, radiates to your right shoulder blade, that was me. |
