Really? That's pretty idiotic. Imagine that there is a terrible genetic disorder within a population of people. All people who have this disorder pass it on to their children. Would you really oppose paying them money in order to be sterilized? And, to be clear, you are fine with a less intelligent racial group outbreeding a more intelligent group, right? You don't think we should stop something like that?

Good but not elite school, extremely high class rank. I applied to around 75 judges and secured 5 interviews. 4 of my 5 interviews came about, at least in part, as a result of some connection I had with the judge (a highly personalized cover letter citing local contacts, a judge calling one of my recommenders in advance, having a relationship with a current clerk beforehand, etc.).

Not tenured.

Meat market was mentally exhausting, but as long as you're not one of the people who freaks out over things like the LSAT, OCI, OSCAR, bar, and so on, you should be okay. If you're the kind of person who worries obsessively over those things, it's going to be rough on you.

No. I use some supplements from time to time to get some ideas for articulating concepts in class, but I stick almost exclusively with the casebook. I don't have time to read from everything.

It happens all the time. The question is what category it falls into. "I don't know, and I should know" is the hardest, and then I'm pretty honest and say I'll get back with them. "I don't know, and it's irrelevant," or "I don't know, and nobody knows" are easy. I haven't come across the "I don't know, and this is so obvious that I look like a fool not answer because that kid in the back probably knows" situation.
