RODNEY SPARROW and REG and/or Renewable Energy Group are advance fee scam artists. They have hired Reputation Defender to pollute the Internet with fake posts designed to hide their criminal activities. Sparrow has been blacklisted and is extensively discussed on the Mortgage Grapevine.
Rodney Sparrow will claim to represent a hedge fund. He doesn’t. It does not exist. He’ll ask for all sorts of documents, and say he will discuss it with the fund. There is no fund.
Sparrow will ask for a due diligence fee - to be used for a site visit and get your financing approved.
It is all false. The minute Rodney Sparrow gets your money, you will never hear from him again. There will be no site visit, no loan, and no refund.
If you can weed through all the Internet pollution Reputation Defender is putting out there you will find all sorts of real information about this scam artist.
He has no financial background. He’s a former marine kicked out of the service.

After scamming thousands of dollars from clients Rodney Sparrow and Lance Young are back to their old tricks. If you weren't taken by Renewable Energy Group you will love Rodney's newest adventure. That way when you google search his name that site doesn't come up. He also changed his company name from Carte Blance to Private Equity Group.
Also, a new update: Dana Ober-Watts is a double agent. Dana says she is with a third party but when it comes down to it Dana will tell you anything and everything you want to hear to get you to believe that Rodney can really fund loans. She has told many people she knew where Rodney's funds were coming from and that she had run a back ground check. And when it is all said and done... She lied about all of it. Why would she lie and say she never said that info????? Secret Agent Man (insert theme song here..) Dana is a double agent.
DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT do business with Rodney Sparrow, Lance Young or Dana Ober-Watts. They will take your money and leave you wondering why you ever dealt with them.

Michael Fertik at Reputation Defender is a scam artist. Don't fall for his tactics. The internet is full of blogs made by Michael Fertik and his employees made to look as if Reputation Defender has a lot of good stisfied clients, it's all a scam! Reputation Defender can't remove any of the posts find by google about you. I have a daughter who posted in her private page personal information about her thinking that only her friends would be able to see it. Long and be hold a month later the entire school saw it and she was rediculed to a point where she didn't want to go to school any more. As a worried father I called reputation Defender. At first I spoke to a sales person who asked me to google my daughter's name, with in seconds he gave me a qute of $5000 saying that "my daughter's case is complicated", well above the advertised price. I then hanged up the phone in disgust. A few days later seeing how much my daughter was suffering I placed another call to reputation defender and got a different quote from another sales person. This time it was $1200 (Different sales person - different quote; that shows the integrity of Michael Fertik's company). I then decided to hire them. When I asked if there are guarantees regarding the results I got a ducking answer. I waited a few weeks just to see that the posts about my daughter are still there. When I called to get my money back I got the runaround. Don't fall for their tactics, they are acammers. Michael Fertik's employees work on commissions, they try to feed fear into you telling you that they can cure your internet problems and in the process get as much money as they can get out of you but in reality this is all a fraud.
Totally agree - Michael Fertik and Reputation defender are scam artists. I've paid $599 to get better Google results for me name search and got nothing in return, ABSOLUTELY NO RESULT from these so called experts. They also refused to refund my money saying they already did the work, and results may come in the future. Their company is all a fraud.
You guys obviously didn't google Michael Fertik before paying him your hard earned dollars. Michael Fertik and Reputation Defender are scams, a fraud and a joke. He can't even keep his own name clear from google search, how would you expect him to keep his clients names clear? On the first page of Michael Fertik's google search there is a very negative post about him http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Reputation_Defender . I feel so stupid because I've made the same mistake. I paid that crook, Michael Fertik, $3000 before cancelling my service with Reputation Defender. Needless to say I could never recover my money, then I googled Michael Fertik name Reputation Defender and found all the negative posts about them. Stupid I know, I should have done it before I wasted my money. Save your money folks, run away from this croock
