Masturbation, Sadness, and Mustachioed Children (SuperTroll)

One black female child stole one of my markers and drew a mustache on her face. Baffled, I facepalmed and asked for my marker back. It's probably some sex signal. Moral panic will ensue in a few short months as "mustache parties" erupt.
A particularly annoying girl who takes pains to point out the most obvious and annoying things possible like, "You're bald, Mr. Supertroll," told another teacher he looked sad (who'd think, amidst lumninaries such as these?). He shouted back, "Quit talking about Mr. Supertroll's baldness and the sadness in my life."
I have a girl who keeps masturbating incessantly. The hall pass was literally vile when I got it back last time. I brought in salad tongs to deal with the situation.
I called her father and asked if she had any medical problems that would lead her to go to the bathroom and come back smiling 20 minutes later. Her father is a a fundamentalist (muslim). He of course denies the implication that she does something that would so offend Allah as masturbate. He also blamed the "filthy American children" and their corrupting influence. He then yelled a string of what I believed to be obscenities at me in a foreign language.
Administrator was out, thank God. |

The differing academic attitudes and corresponding differences in the cultures and family structures of American blacks and African Blacks really illustrates this point well.
Also, fwiw, she doesn't get that the moments when things go right don't make for interesting stories. I called a doctor for some kid who didn't speak English today at lunch. Or the parent I convinced to let her daughter sing in the choir. Not a story. I tell the kinds of stories you hear in the teacher's lounge. I don't hate kids, I like them, but they have their issues, just like any client base. |

Credit Recovery and portfolios are 2 other scams they use. Credit Recovery and the RCT and component retests are allegedly getting tossed soon though.
They told me in no uncertain terms to pass a bunch of students who don't speak a word of fucking English, too.
They've started sending most of the other tests out for grading nao. |
