Does this shit matter at all during OCI? Assume good grades from T10. I held down a decent or almost impressive (for my age and experience at the time) job where I was managing a team of people while I was in college for two and a half years, but after that until I started law school, I just bounced around between being a waiter at a country club, freelance writer, and legal secretary. I didn't stick with any of those jobs for more than four months.

Will this matter at all come OCI? Should I reach for pepper?

I think, from the information I've gathered, that W/E comes into play more when your grades suck.

If you're assuming good grades from a T10, I'd assume that you would be fine if you interview decently.

Thank you. I assume that compared to someone with similar grades but a consulting gig, or two-four years of working the same job, I may be at a disadvantage. But I keep hearing about people having 'solid' W/E and it gives me pause when I think of job-hopping for more money, better hours, or more convenience when I was graduated.

I'm pretty sure (though not positive) that the majority of kids in T10 law schools (maybe not HYS) are K - JD students.

Don't get me wrong, the amount that do have W/E is probably not negligible, but I wouldn't feel as if you are in a disadvantaged minority of students because you don't have 'solid' W/E (unless you shit out on grades).

Which brings me to my next observation, which is that W/E really only comes to play for the aforementioned reason above, and it also really only comes into play when it is actual, SOLID W/E. Professional W/E. Not fucking around in some random 10$/hr. job. That shit might as well not even be mentioned, from what I've gathered.

Thanks. My job during college was actually pretty good and I could have ran with it for a solid career, but I made a different choice. I appreciate the comfort, brother.

Grades are the most important. But also make sure your resume makes you look like a professional and not a crazy nomadic itinerant.

How? Can I lie and say I was a legal secretary or with the Country Club for longer than I was or would C&F bite me? I just didn't enjoy the career prospects from my old job and figured I was going to law school anyway so I could have some fun, low stress jobs until matriculation.
