They just look at a collections sheet every quarter. Sometimes they give me an assignment, and I'll return it the same day. They don't even look at it for weeks. I get tiny collection bonuses, but they don't change my paycheck very much. It's really hard to stay motivated. Working harder doesn't pay off, the work is really boring, and I"m afraid if my habits get too bad they'll just freak out and fire me one day. Anybody have any tips to stay on task? |

Date: June 25th, 2012 7:22 PM Author: angry brunch Inside tip: offer to help out with collecting money from clients. Ie work on some complaints, demand letters, enforcing judgments. If you collect one fuckin judgment the bosses will treat you like a god and you're better than 99 percent of lawyers.
Go up to him and be like " I really am interested in this" it's fun as fuck. No time limits and will fill time gaps. Plus one collection>>> three "well written" motions. Shitlaw bosses love money. |
