Date: May 11th, 2013 11:22 PM Author: Walnut bearded lodge u do realize that "rehab" is a glorified nursing home. that's where people go after their stroke or whatever surgery they had. neuro and physiatrists do a part of their training in such settings and if they are not successful at setting up a practice where they do 20x of botox injections for post-stroke spasticity or steroids for back pain, they'll just work at those nursing homes. i think hospitalists actually have it better than physiatry today. but there is a great increase in primary care residencies so their field is going to get saturated.
