HLS Grad who won Survivor

Date: May 17th, 2013 10:08 AM Author: Contagious At-the-ready Abode Anyone else here still watch Survivor? I mostly watch it because my wife is a big fan, but this season was actually interesting and a skinny and nerdy recent HLS grad won the whole damn thing.
Best part is what he wants to do now:
"The great thing, or one of many great things, about winning Survivor is that now I kind of have this safety net where I am not—there is no urgency for me to run off and get some high-paying miserable law job," Cochran told Reality TV World. "I can experiment with different types of writing. I think I'm a good writer, you know?" |

other thoughts-
how long after the taping ended was the reveal that he won - Brenda seemed really pregnant, I got to think they put them through pre show physicals and wouldn't let a pregnant chick do the show
which make me think Cochoran sat around for 6-7 months thinking he probably won, but not entirely sure, got to think that would have been weird |

Date: May 17th, 2013 10:34 AM Author: Contagious At-the-ready Abode Oh for sure, there's no way Brenda was pregnant when on the show, so it has to be at least 10 months between taping and finale. I think they filmed this past season during the summer of 2012 (I believe they film each season around school breaks to make it easier for people to be on the show - so spring season is filmed during the previous year's summer and fall season is filmed during the previous year's December-January).
Interesting thought about the sociopathic behavior. I mean, it's not quite so simple, in that you have to walk a fine line between being a sociopath, but still human enough that people will want to make you the winner. |

Maybe Dawn was an even bigger emotional trainwreck at camp than they made it appear. |

funny that Sherry was such a pawn that she voted for Eddie too, even after the confessional that the one person she didn't want to be at the finals with was Dawn |
