I understand that irl they don't have to do a full physical, they only ask 1 or 2 questions that require thought and pretend to look at your eyes and nose with a head lamp. but they still have to move fast.. and then sometimes you get patients that come back to you after getting their "aids stabilized" or "cancer stabilized". I guess they come to primary care to discuss their "depression and end of life care".
just remembered another usmle question. a fat woman comes you and says "I am sure it's my thyroid" but her thyroid level is normal. so what should you say to her? I forgot what I put there. |
