I have a friend who does this and he struggled initially, but once he got rolling and figured out all of the quirks of the auto biz, he started doing really well. Learn the financing aspect as well as the sales part. A few friends started their own dealership after about 10 years of sales and each of them now make in excess of $500k a year selling used autos. Date: June 17th, 2013 8:10 PM Author: Appetizing talking temple 1: Assuming I'm able to hack it (friend at dealership who hooked me up is going to train me) I expect to make between 70-90k after a few years. Won't break six figures unless I get a large client base or move into management.
2: Law was a complete waste of time, I'm only glad that I got a pretty good scholly and had minimal debt. |

2: No, will say I worked an office gig before this, thats about it.
