We shouldn't be judging people's unrelated work and reputation based on doing adult entertainment work.

It's unfair and unrelated. That someone did work in the sex industry has nothing to do with their suitability for doing other kinds of work. Working in the sex industry doesn't mean they're not wonderful, well adjusted, hard working people.

We should be judging people by the actual content of their character, and if it's for a job by their ability to do that job. Don't judge people based on things that are completely unrelated and unimportant.

To be so heavily biased against people for such meaningless crap is anathema to a fair, egalitarian, and rational society. It's great to see an article make compassionate and understanding case for people who are often heavily judged. So thank you EJ for writing this.
