She is prone to extreme harrassment, perhaps more than anyone else, because she is indeed of a good-natured temperament, and she finds some satisfaction in responding to all of her attackers. This makes her many battles personal. In other words, while most other controversial posters here typically do not respond to *every* attacker and rarely post on attack threads bearing their names (Rowan, for example, rarely posts on new "Rowan is ugly" threads), she feels it her duty to respond to every racist accusation or mischaracterization of her various maxims. This is where I find her greatest fault, although it is by no means of the magnitude complained of by posters such as 174 and the "are you black? what are your monikers" cadre. Those that dislike her do so for no other reason than that she is unwilling to compromise her views in order to satisfy perceptions and accusations of other posters; she is consistently s "self-righteous Black woman/activist"; and people here, predictably, hate that. Her views on race, although at times slightly racist depending on the reader, aren't as "stupid" as people might suggest. Nothing she says here hasn't been said over and over again by every talking-head discussing the matter for the past 20 or so years. This is why I find widespread contempt for her views so odd.
