Donald Trump’s lead in South Carolina appears to be growing.

The New York billionaire received 42 percent support in a CBS News/YouGov poll released Sunday, his high-water mark among likely Republican primary voters in the Palmetto State.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was second at 20 percent in the new survey.

Trump’s 22-percentage point lead is his largest in South Carolina since he took the lead in the state this summer, according to data collected by Real Clear Politics.

this was from before the debate

i want to see a well regarded poll post debate

i think he will take a hit. he will not be winning new votes with his blistering attack on GWB and 9/11 in SC but should lose a few dumbass voters

but think it will be a ~5% drop and he will still lead by ~10 points and probably win the primary

these dont control for multiple votes or bots and finally allow ppl from anywhere in the world to vote. for fck sake i voted on many of these polls and i live in CA and cant vote in SC

so do u understand why they are not scientific with regard to the primary? those actual polls have to be fckng designed state by state to get proper coverage geography/age wise and also focuses on likely primary voters etc etc.

EDIT: also not to mention this poll is about who won the debate not who you will vote for. sure there will be a strong correlation but it is not even a fckng poll abt the primary in SC

ljl at u :D

wtf man

this has to be obvious right? how the fck is this poll scientifically valid for SC primary?

its an online poll about who won the debate open to anybody in the world to vote for. real polls will build a sample to reflect likely SC primary voters in age/location etc and ask them voting questions etc

lol his margin is so huge it is almost certainly not going to keep him from victory even if it does hurt his numbers a bit.

Plus, Cruz is in second, and I believe is close to Trump on this. If this helps Bush, it might take support from Cruz, too, and leave all non Trump candidates still fighting for second and third.

This will be a fun media week.

This is the nh win numbers. Its giving him a bump. I do think he will lose a few percentage points from the hardline conservatives after the debate. But he will still win and he is looking to the generals.
